Easy to use & set up, excellent device

I was afraid it would be difficult to use, but it was simple to hook up and use right away. Easy to access my Netflix and Hulu account. I really like the earphone connection on the ROKU 3 so I can play it louder at night (I'm hard of hearing) without bothering my wife in bed with the sound.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We ditched the dish for Roku.For less than the price of one months dish service you can buy this great little unit.Extremely easy to setup

The Roku 3 is a great streamer. The headphone jack in the remote is one of the best innovations I have seen in a long time. Smart TV's and Blu-Ray players don't seem to want to update there app selection, so the Roku's flexibility and streaming speed make it a must for any serious video hound.

Don't like Roku 3

I bought the Roku 3 because I thought it would be an improvement over the Roku 2. Boy, was I wrong. The Netflix Channel -- I hate -- the summary for movies and TV shows are too small to read. After watching a TV episode the new Netflix channel starts playing the next episode in the series instead of stopping. The new Youtube channel also is lacking. Youtube starts playing another video after watching a video. I want to have a choice whether I want to watch another episode, or another video. My husband will not upgrade his Roku 2! Roku, without a change, you have just lost us as customers.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Interface

All is great until I wanted to interface the audio. I need to find earphone jack on the unit. The older models had this but it was moved to the remote control on the model 3. I don't know anyone who uses head phones connected to their remote but I do know many people who use one one the unit. Stability of the signal is great and it's nice to have wireless connection to your router.
