Love at first use

Love this device! I was confused on the point of it, but now I see! This thing is compact, FAST, and just awesome to use. Having at least one streaming membership is helpful! Netflix, Hulu or amazon .... I just love it. Many free channels too and plenty to view, listen on pandora etc. I'm getting another !

Transfer of files to roku 3 from Computer

I found many of your selections to view my files to be over thought and find it rather hard to translate my files to the tv screen. Can you please narrow it down to a hand full that actually work with out having to use outside files.

I have 3 roku boxes and got my other family to purchase one for their homes. Enough said! We are of South east Asian descent and my mom does not understand much English. Able to purchase subscription to "Malimar" channel where she can watch current and old movies as well as stay updated on news from there. Really love this box!

Wow was I surprised!! I am glad that I did not get rid of my old Apple TV. The picture quality of my Netflix on the Roku is so much worse than on my Apple TV. I can't believe that the Roku has gotten so many good reviews. I love the features and having a bit more content, but I just can't put up with the poor video quality.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Really like the Roku 3

Been using it for many months now with Verizon FIOS. Only stream Netflix and Amazon Prime. Very satisfied with the Roku 3. Especially like the remote-powered ear buds, just remember to unplug them when done or the batteries will croak fast.

We have had it for a year. 11months with no problems then for one month solid we couldn't get Netflix to work at all. My daughter had it working on her tablet so Netflix wasn't the issue. It has finally pretty much resolved itself, however there are times when it runs really slow or has to restart for no reason.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this for one reason. The Roku is one of a few streamers that have access to NBA League Pass. I am a total Los Angeles Lakers fan and I can see the games even though I live in Seattle.
