Brought this Roku 3today and my goodness I can't stop looking at it. I may just get rid of cable and buy me another Roku 3. Very easy to install even a 2nd grader that can read could install great project and I see already a great money saver only if you are ok about waiting on a couple of days after show has aired on regular TV.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Got the Roku 3 to watch my mlb.tv subscription. Works very well for what I use it for. I'm surprised at how much better my music channels sound with the Roku than it does on my desktop computer. A good value and a useful tool for streaming. Also like the fact that I can plug my headphones into the remote and wander around the house listening to music without losing the signal. Only drawback is that occasionally the Roku locks up and resets.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This thing turns your TV into the ultra smart TV! I have used a 46" 1080p LG smart TV for a while and it really doesn't compare to the Roku 3! (The Roku3 is the only one I've used) It runs super fast and take no power doing it, it uses such litte power that there isn't even an On/Off switch!
There are a lot of apps for channels, I use Netflix, Hulu and Amazon Prime the most. But I also use Plex for streaming off my PC and it works wonderfully! I upgraded from using a RaspberyPi as an XBMC to the Roku and have been blown away by it's awesomeness! I now own 2.
I use mainly in our home theater on a 1080p Projecter currently at 146" with a 7.2 surround sound system. Sadly, it has limits... I have a cheap 720P projecter in our bedroom with a little 5.1 All-n-1 receiver/speaker system. Though the I can get the Roku power up screen to display, once it makes it to the home screen I only get auido, no video. (and it is set to 720p, tho I've tryed both) I'm still working on the bugs for that but it works perfectly with our other TVs and projecter so its not a hardware failure. I have also tryed 3 different SD cards for added memory, so far it will not recognize 1 of them and refuses to reformat the other 2. Unreq is an 8GB, the 2 it wont format are 2GB&8GB (These arn't needed, just wanted)
I have only played Angry Birds on it as it was free and I didn't get it for gaiming, but the remote is pretty cool. The motion control is quiet accurate and smooth. The Roku sits behind me in the back of the room and I have never experienced lag or connectivity issues.
I have recommended the Roku to everyone I know. I absoluty love it and want everyone else to enjoy this thing like I do!

The Best!

I am so happy with this purchase. I made the change from another device to the Roku 3 and am very happy. The selection of channels is amazing. Especially the free ones. This device also hits my wireless network qucicker and doesn't drop the signal like my previous unit. My only regret is that I didn't purchase a Roku from the get-go.

Works well. Many choices.
Only issue I've had is over heating and it blanks out for 10 min or so.
Other than that I'm enjoying it.

I love my Roku. There is so much to do I haven't even discovered everything. The "channel" variety is amazing! Cable was awful and expensive and now there are tons of options available to me.

I love this device; my only complaint is that it lags way too much. Any time i try to strean a show, it repeatedly stops and loads and it has a hard time grasping our wifi signal while every other device is fine. Please fix. Other than that, its great.

I love my Roku player. I switched to it after using my Wii to stream Netflix (horrible experience). I kept saying, "Why isn't there a device that can stream Netflix, Hulu and Amazon Prime? It shouldn't be this difficult!" Then I found the Roku. That was almost three years ago and I haven't regretted my purchase once. It's a great device for people who don't have smart Tvs that can get these channels automatically and has made my transition to a cable-free life amazingly smooth. I originally had the Roku HD and purchased the 2, last fall. I even turned my sister on to it who thought I was talking nonsense for the longest time.
Thanks for making a low-cost (think of your last cable bill...), stellar product!
