I bought my Roku 3 to replace my old Roku 1 (Which was still working fine). I primarily use only Netflix and YouTube which the Roku 3 delivers very well. My only possible complaint is that it requires rebooting periodically when it becomes unstable. Sometimes this is automatic but other times it requires manually unplugging the power
lead to the unit. Just as a side note, I am about to cancel my Netflix account and use the Roku 3 primarily with YouTube.

I bought the Roku 3 for the ability to plug a headset into it which is a real plus for me.
I have found it to be more reliable than my Roku 2 which has to be re-booted quite often.
My only complaint with the Roku 3 is the need to replace its' batteries after only a few hours use. I have switched to the much more expensive Duracell Quantum batteries and am getting more time between replaceents.

Much better than my Roku XD

I've had my Roku 3 for about a year now and it works very well. The interface is much more polished that my Roku XD which still works fine but it resides in my guest room.
I would recommend this to a friend!

If you want a easy to install, easy to use device with TONS of content available to view, get this. If not, go buy some other junk. Love my Roku. It never disappoints. Never has skipped a best and I am a 100% satisfied buyer. You can't go wrong with Roku!

I had an AppleTV prior to buying the Roku 3. I no longer use my AppleTV. Why? First the remote design is much better. The keys are simple and large enough that if I am half asleep I can find them easily to turn of whatever I may be watching. The software is easy to figure out; from adding a new channel, to connecting to the internet. This is simply a well designed product. I would recommend it to anyone who streams any type of content.
