Remarkable Roku!

I bought my Roku 3 a few months ago because I wanted to move the Roku 2 to my room. The Roku 3 has more features and we love the headphones. Now, when someone is up having a midnight snack and watching the "Much Too Late" show, the rest of the family sleeps undisturbed. Best feature ever!

I purchased this to be able to watch movies in my bedroom, I have a large Smart TV in the family room but sometimes want to watch something in bed.........Love, love, love it........easy to use and I can bring it to my vacation home......I am a senior, non-techie woman and I had no problem hooking this up. Everything I needed was in the box, so easy to install and then setting it up with my Netflix, Amazon Prime, You Tube and Pandora. I went camping with friends and I brought this to use in their RV, yup, you guessed it, they already bought one.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Can't figure out free content

Easy to use and set up. Can't find helpful advise on finding free content. I do not have a cable provider. So most Chanel's will not allow me to watch anything. Bummer

Better than Cable!!

I bought this device to cut the Cable bill cord. I have had the Roku 3 since February 2014. I absolutely love it! I have everything I need or could ever want. I don't even miss Cable since there are so many free apps to watch. The Roku 3 is super small so it can easily travel or fit just about anywhere. I love the wireless remote with the earplug feature. It comes in quite handy late at night while everyone else in the house is sleeping. It's maintenance free and is super fast. I never have any problems with the device, ever. It even updates the software on its own. This was the best decision I ever made for myself.

Roku 3 Just works and Does it the way you expect

Solid product design, both the physical device and the programing. The functions are fast. Startup is fast. On the rare occasion that something gets stuck, pulling the cord to the power adaptor and replugging always cures it.
One fault is the fast battery consumption when using the remote's headset plug then without warning the remote ceases to control until you change batteries. This means that the movie plays on as you go find new cells. There are various fixes for this that I can think of, I am sure the Roku engineers can remediate this issue.
I do not know of any other issues that are cons in this device.

I am not a frequent review writer, however, ROKU is an exception. It just works exceptionally well, every time. There is no hesitation, or interruptions, or blips in the service.....like the review title says, it just works! It is easy to set up and does not require high level technical expertise. Since I bought the ROKU, my AppleTV box has not been used.....at all! Enough said.....just buy it with full confidence.
