Overall, great item.

Great product with easy interface and set up. Only issues would be with the small stuttering on the video on Netflix and the lack of basic tv channels (NBC and a better CBS would be great, and Appletv has ABC)...but I realize this is primarily due to the networks and not Roku.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I debated for months if this was the right choice for us. After having dish network for so long I was very skeptical but needed to make cuts somewhere financially. Tv was the first cut. After about two weeks without TV I decided it would be a perfect time to try the Roku so I got my husband one for Father's day. I am so glad I did, we love it!! We have had it for a month and have only scratched the surface with channels.
Only con is I have yet to figure out how/where the best place is to get shorts coverage as my husband and I like sports but we have survived without them.
I Plan to invest in a couple more.

THE BEST. Got this awesome gift for my 80th birthday and my son in law installed it for me. You can imagine how i feel using this fantastic invention because when i was young i could only go see a movie at a theater and they were all in black and white.

The roku box re-boots itself at least once a week. It freezes then those irritating bouncing ROKU LETTERS for 90 seconds ...RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF A MOVIE....
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We love it....or should I say our dog loves it. We couldn't get dog tv on Apple TV or through time warner so we got the roku. We haven't had any problems so far. We have had it for about one month now

I debated between the Roku 3 and the new Amazon Fire TV. After careful thought I decided to go with the Roku 3. I have a Apple TV in our living room and had a WD Live in our bedroom. The Roku 3 is fast, responsive, and the remote is nice. Wife loves it as well. I'm a Amazon Prime and Netflix and they both work very well. I also use Plex to stream my local videos and it does it well. The interface for Plex on Roku could be improved, but it is still easy to use and functional. I am very happy with our Roku 3 boxes.

I love our Roku has so many apps and features we spend hours watching what we want, keeps my 5 year old grandson entertained as well.

This is the best product ever...I had trouble streaming movies and now we have no problems what so ever...would recommend Roku 3 to all my friends.
