Great Device

I bought this as a simple Plex device and it works great. The unfortunate thing is the Roku locks down player options. The interface works, but it's not as nice as you'd get with a fire tv, or even an Ouya as I was using before.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We've had our Roku III for a couple of months and we love it. I especially the Roku Channels like Newsmax-TV, FoxNews, The Street and CNBC. Thought I would really miss my daily political and business news without Cable TV, but Roku came through and I can stay well informed. We also really like the available apps like the Roku Media server and PLEX. They make it simple to stream and download video, pictures, music and more on-line channels from our main computer directly to our large screen (non-WIFI) TV. Additionally, my wife really likes the KDrama and other asian channels; something not even available with our cable service. We would recommend Roku to anyone looking to reduce their cable bill and still have multiple media options.

Don't need to spend extra money on premium cable stations to watch movies. My favorite feature is the ear phone jack. While my 14 mos old grandson is napping I can watch a movie without disturbing his nap.

The setup and day to day use is easy to navigate and configure. Changes to the configuration are easy to manage. Adding stations are relatively easy as well.
