Great.....but....

Only 2 complaints.
#1, is likely my own issue- I probably need to upgrade my router to get rid of the intermittent streaming problems I have (Like the sound and the action not being perfectly in sync....annoying!).
#2, My dad has Roku 2 and it has a Netflix section that lists the shows/movies that are new to Netflix. Roku 3 does not. WHY NOT???...right now, I have to go thru all the categories to find new stuff. Takes way too much time.

fast stable streamer

I was hesitant to buy. But this is far more stable than my former unit. Only irritants are in the realm of activation. Mine required a funding source yet not every channel can be parentally controlled. The kids can order and watch M60 movies at will and it would be preferable for me if there's no limit, to remove those channels. Everything else is better than expected.

This is probably the best media consumption tool I've ever used! Lots of great content, lots of easy features. Set up was a breeze. I LOVE the headphone jack on the remote. Best feature EVER!!! Good job!!!

I bought a Roku after doing tons of research on the easiest/cheapest way to stream shows onto my television. The setup and download of the apps are super easy. However, they aren't as good as the ones we use on our iPads.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good but not great

Ive been using rokus since they came out. The 3 is the best one so far. The motion remote is nice however I wish the volume buttons controlled the volume on the tv too. (Maybe possible in the future with hdmi controlled tvs). Also I wish they had a digital antennae included into the box. Lastly I wish it had a restart or on/off button. Other than those few things we are completely happy about the roku 3.
