When we purchased the Roku 3 we had intermittent trouble, frustrating, ready to give up, until we discovered it was the hand held controller. I downloaded a Roku controller app to my cell phone and it works GREAT!
I would recommend this to a friend!

The good stuff -Easy to use and set up, love the headphone feature as well.
The bad stuff- Messes with your WIFI and and turns into its own wireless connection with then messes with your phone and any other connection in that room, very annoying....

Like the title says... Much cheaper than cable but took a little getting used to. Pay-as-you-go TV is a much better service model than "Big-Cable".

Came from a much earlier model (720p) so needless to say there was quite an improvement in performance and quality.

Love this Roku 3 player. The only thing that I would liked to see is, that the player played in 720i and /or 1080i.

I was skeptical at first, but Roku really is a great deal. There are TONS of great, free content, the majority of which is unavailable anywhere else. There are also a huge number of economical pay channels that I subscribe to. There is SO MUCH to see, I am overwhelmed by the choices of content.
