Roku has saved me SO much money

I've been using the Roku devices since they first came out and upgrading with each new version. I still have the old ones either in use or in my basement in storage..all worked last I used them. My wife and I no longer keep DVD's and have been without cable for many years now. And Roku has taken away the sting of not having cable. In fact they really couldn't pay me to use cable now. I love the total control of the content I want. For the record my favorite channels are netflix, hulu and amazon with a handful of others for listening to podcasts and the like. Thank you Roku!!!!

easy setup, high just-works factor

Setup on wifi and started up right away. Headphone jack in remote solves the sleeping spouse challenge. worked with our Hulu+ and NetFlix accounts.

Love the Roku 3. Love the earbuds in the remote, love the Search feature that shows where to find a specific movie or TV show across all apps, and especially love the WatchESPN app during Little League Worl Series time!

Our family has truly enjoyed our Roku. We dropped out satellite plan and went to streaming only. The kids love it too and it is so easy to use. One of our favorite features is the headphone jack on the remote control. This is a real peace keeper when one person wants to watch TV and another wants to read (although it does drain the remote batteries quickly if you leave the headphones plugged in for any length of time). Overall this is a great device.

We had notching but problems with our Sony BluRay trying to watch Amazon Prime movies and other shows. We bought the ROKU 3 based on reviews of other users and have not been disappointed. After 6 weeks, we have not had one issue with the streaming. The headphone jack on the remote is kind of silly and a poor quality ear bud set but still a solid performer for me.

I already had the Roku 2's, but when this one came out with the headset I had to have it. Often I watch while husband is sleeping and now we are both very happy. Soon as I can I am going to buy another for the other room.
