Awesome product with only one flaw

The Roku 3 or Roku 2 XS are a must buy for anyone with high-speed Internet looking to improve their home entertainment experience. These Roku devices are easy to setup, easy to use, reliable and offer a huge amount of entertainment options. My only gripe with any of the Roku players, is there is no Apple Airplay type feature as of 08/19/2013. Roku has an app which will allow you to stream videos, photos and music stored on your iPhone or Android device, but you cant stream video from other Apps such as YouTube, Safari, Chrome, etc, like Apple AirPlay will allow you to do on a connected Apple TV device. If Roku added this feature to their players, there would be no reason in my mind to purchase an Apple TV device.
Pros: Simple Controls, Fast Setup, Attractive Design, Improved Audio/Video

We use our Roku as our primary source of entertainment. We stream our favorite TV shows and movies (both new and old) on a regular basis. It has helped simplify our lifestyle immensely and cut down on cords running from our PC to TV. We love it!!!

Regarding the free movies, there are too many advertisements. Advertisements are too close to each other. To enjoy movies, you have to buy one of the paid channels.

Easy and lots of choices

I love the simplicity of the roku 3. The menus are easy to navigate and there are tons of choices for content. I do wish there was an audio out to go to my stereo. Also, why is there no Youtube channel??? Those are the only two flaws on this great devise.

It has everything! (except YouTube)

I got the original Roku when it first came out and loved it. Eventually it started getting sluggish and unpleasant to use. I did a little homework and got a faster, dual-band router and a Roku 3. Best purchases I've ever made. The remote on the Roku 3 is easily the best remote I've ever owned. The new wireless remote is incredibly responsive compared to the original Roku which was a standard "line of sight" IR remote. The game controller layout is just the right size for all the hands in our house. And the headphone jack on the remote gets used a lot!
We're an all Mac house, but I chose Roku over Apple TV for access to Amazon Instant Video, where I have a lot of content. The only thing I'm missing is YouTube, but there are iPad apps to work around that. Ultimately, the only content we're missing out on is "web only" content from Hulu, but I can't fault Roku for that.
I will say the interface is kind of "bulky." Most of the apps (Netflix, Hulu, Roku) show 6-10 options per screen. I think you should be able to tell Roku hpw big your TV is and adjust its interface to show more content. Not annoying enough to lose a star, tho.

best TV ever!

I got a ROKU 2 on black friday 2 years ago, I gave to my parents, cuz I got a ROKU 3 for my birthday this year, I love ROKU players they have all the TV, Music and Games I love, I really love the headphones outlet on the ROKU 3 remote, if you don't have a ROKU player yet, you need to get one, you will love it!
