I love the Roku interface, but find it very unreliable. It freezes up many times a day and requires me to pull the power to reset it...

Roku 3 the best Roku yet!!

Originally, I purchased the Roku 3 since I needed another Roku. I was really surprised at all the new features. My favorite feature is the ability to listen to what is playing on Roku using headsets which gives an even better Roku experience versus TV speakers. The content just keeps getting better. I have really replaced our cable TV with Roku since there is so many options.

Roku is still my favorite player. The top end Roku is still reasonably priced so I didn't see any reason not to get it. I probably won't upgrade until Roku does something really interesting, or offers a units with access to the Google play store, or another child inherits my existing Roku, which is what happened to my Roku2.
I use my Roku3 for Netflix, sometimes Amazon, and occasionally a file on a USB.
The Interface is the easiest and quickest.
The media offerings are way, way beyond what I'm interested in or need, but I know this is important to others.

The low power consumption has lead me to move this off to its own power path, so it just stays on while everything else is powered off. And of course it updates automatically without me having to interact or wait on it.
The Roku3 is why I stopped renting movies. I own other devices that just sit around because the Roku satisfies all of my needs.

Roku is awesome and the Roku 3 is way faster than the Roku 2. If you like to live life in the fast lane, then the Roku 3 is your box. Really tho, it's awesome that I only have to pay for internet and Netflix every month. We are living life large on that extra cash...so just get one already!

I cut the cable cord 7 years ago. Let me tell you, Roku has come a long way! The Roku 3 streams very well and let me tell you, I lobe the fact I can plug in my ear buds to the remote. The apps are easy to use and we even have family game night and play games on it. The box has gotten smaller and faster over the years. I will NEVER go back to cable. We use it to stream Netflix, Hulu Plus, Amazon and we also use it to stream Playon. Keep up the great work Roku.

Bought this a few months ago and am very please with its ease of use and quick response time compared to the previous version. Has many channel options and lets me play my own music/photos via the USB port. Small and sleek, it has only a few buttons that cover all my needs. The grand kids love the games that come with it.
