It's everything I could have asked for and more. Games, movies, TV, music and many other things I still haven't discovered. Well worth the money

Roku 3... Sometimes a hit, other times a miss...

I bought the Roku 3 unit after having wonderful luck with the Roku 2. I thought this was going to be the case with the Roku 3... First, it has wonderful features and additional extras that are not available on the Roku 2; but, sadly I have had all kinds of problems keeping it from doing a "blue screen" error which requires a constant reset. I bought extra heavy duty cables to handle the HD frequency and still the same problem. When it works its a hit, when it shows up with an error its a definite miss. Seems like it might be a firmware problem?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have four ROKU's in the house, at least one from each issue. The 3 is far and away the best. I bought three as Christmas gifts for each of my adult children and I could not have selected a better gift. They rave about it. Fewest interruptions, most versatility for optional programming, easiest to use. It no longer gives the dot indicator for degree of reception, so I don't think we are getting frequent HD quality, -- but it is more consistent than prior versions. One downside is that mine will turn off when it is shut down for a while and I have to go through reregister pains to resurrect it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Remote stops working every few hours. I have to reset the box to get it to work.

I have a couple of ROKUs and have been real happy with all of them over all. One thing i have been hating on is the ROKU remotes!! I really wish the remote was still square though like the previous generations, the remote is too "slickery" and rounded ...I'm a guy with big man hands and this thing is tiny.(only the apple tv one is worse) Volume control via. the remote would also be a bonus ....really, at this point in our ROKU evolution and we still can't adjust the volume? And my last remote complaint ...LIGHTS! can't we have lighted buttons? Come on its 2014 ...make the buttons glow a little so I can see um !!

I like it but sometimes it shuts down and won't work ,doesn't happen often but it does happen overall has worked well

The roku is easy to use & it is great. I have amazon prime & instead of renting red box movies I use my roku with my amazon prime.
my 2 friends are hearing impaired & this device enables them to have the words which is so helpful.

I like for what it doesn when there noting on tv with 250 channels and nothing to watch.It would be even better if i could get dish dvr and watch some movies on regular Hulu for free.
