Awesome device! I have one on all my TV's

We bought a Roku for my son and instantly I feel in love with it (including him). We're able to watch Netflix, ESPN, news, Pandora and many other channels. There's something for everyone. I have replaced all of my cable boxes except for one in my house. I would recommend it to anyone.

Great features

I decided to disconnect cable when they raised my bill to $78.00 per month with no new features. I have antenna tv, now I get movies streaming through. I bought Roku March 2014, don't know how i lived without it before.

I have only had it a few days and Wow this is great !
It's easy to set up,easy to use and provides more of what you want and when you want it.
Roku offers a more practical way of viewing pleasure than any other of the paid service I had before.
There is no more searching through an endless list of junk.
Roku is the future of television and I am loving it.

Had it for 3 months now, love it. I would never pay for cable so I've only had air tv. This has given me many more options.

I am delighted with my Roku and getting rid of that stupid cable bill! It was so easy to set up and we all have been enjoying all the channels - we will never ever go back to cable again. thank you so much for such a great product! I will surely be recommending it to all my friends.

Streaming TV made easy

Streaming MLB, NHL, Netflix and Amazon has never been easier. Roku removes the hastle of trying to hook up our computer to the TV. This is simple and easy to use.

I was asked by a relative if this unit would be better to use than having a full computer connected to their HD TV.
Good:
The Roku 3 was easy to install and connect to the home network both wired and wireless. The remote is very good. Apps easy to install.

Needing improvements:
Needs Standby or off mode - Base is quite warm all the time. Needs a generic WEB browser allowing video streaming from sites that do not provide an app
