I purchased this device with the intent of using it with Plex.
Works like a champ, device is simple. I need more tiny wireless devices that do a bunch of things :)

We've owned our Roku 3 for almost a year and a half. Previously, we owned the original Roku player, which had far less features, and I must say that the Roku 3 is far superior in that it is faster, clearer picture, smaller, and offers YouTube and Plex for channels which we enjoy utilizing. Our family enjoys the freebie Angry Birds Space game that came with it too! Mostly, we made the switch for the handy remote control headphone plugin feature, which bypasses the TV headphones and volume controls, and let's you control the sound right from your roku remote. We actually plug our cordless headphones into the remote, because our TV headphone jack got busted, and it works fine.....there are no frequency issues or anything! If I had one complaint to make about the Roku 3 we own, it is that it has a mind of it's own when it comes to automatic updates.......like even if you're in the middle of watching something! In the future I hope they make updates optionally manual! Also, not sure if it's a Comcast thing or what, but from time to time when turning on Netflix, or Plex to watch something, or even Pandora to listen to something, the sound is suddenly either too fast (like borderline Chipmunks), or too slow (like slow motion audio) and it continues until we unplug the Roku 3 and plug it back in. Like I said, I'm not sure that Roku 3 is to blame, or if it has something to do with Comcast, so we just deal with it since it seems to correct itself after plugging it back in. Overall, I would say the Roku 3 meets our entertainment needs, and I would recommend it to someone who doesn't want to buy a TV with streaming already built into it.

The roku is much faster than the DVD we were using to stream. It's nice to have so many streaming options on one device.

I don't normally do these reviews but I have enjoyed this equipment so much I can't hardly not review it. I rarely ever watch live TV anymore. I had an older model and couldn't wait for the 3 to come out.
