Very happy with the video quality of streams through this device, but VERY disappointed that nothing streamed through it can utilize my system's Dolby sound. Good video, TV box sound.

Almost Perfect!

The thing works beautifully...but it does have a few flaws.
Using the keypad to enter info on it is darned tedious. Just how to get it to stop and hold the position for a day or a week is always an adventure.
I have mine wired to my modem and it works wonderfully and I am delighted with it.

I've been running my Roky for around a year now and it has been really good. Using the PLEX app, I can access all my media so easily.

Great Programming, Poor Specs?

Waiting for a updated release of hardware. Falls below its competitors spec for spec. The programming is second to none at this point.

An Impovement Over The Last Version

My Roku 2 no longer cut it. This one cleared up the problems and works great. Just make sure and don't download the beta version of the operating system as mine was set up to do, as this led to issues. I gave it a poor rating on ease of set up because of the beta operating system issue I encountered.

My wife and I purchased the Roku over all the others due to its ease of use and very smart interface. The physical look of the device is pleasant and unobtrusive. We absolutely love the option for ear buds, too. I tell everyone about it and I would buy it again.
