Pretty good Device

I have had a Roku I and 2 and this Roku 3 version is the best by far. It is much faster then the two previous models and the Output is outstanding. I pump it to a Yamaha 7.1 Audio System with a Mitsu 55in Rear HD TV. My only issue with is unit is the same as with the other two. It has a habit of locking up and I have to do a manual Power Cycle. Sometime it will lock up and reset itself. It is not nearly as often as the I and 2 Models but it is still annoying. I am hoping the next model finally fixes this issue. I will put a Roku against many other Streaming devices available especially the AppleTV Box. I like the fact that a Roku Box allows me to add tons of channels and content while an Apple TV box has the same "attitude" of Apples IOS devices to lock you in to what they want you to be able to do and use.

The box keeps resetting itself. Actually 2 of our 3 boxes keep resetting themselves 2 to 3 times a week.
It get frustrating while watching a show and all of the sudden it goes off and then you have to start watching the show all over again, because it won't let you fast forwards pass the DANG COMMERCIALS.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

No problems to date but gets a little hot and stalls sometime. I would like to see the golf channel on this product.

I FINALLY upgraded to the new Roku and, wow, am I impressed. Set up was instantaneous and very simple to do. Compared to an older version the Roku 3 has much faster speed moving around the site. I like using my Roku so much that I convinced two friends to each buy one. They're thrilled. Thank you for making such a great product.

I purchased a Roku initially to stream Amazon Prime content without hooking my laptop up to the TV. It does that perfectly and more. I had an older model and upgraded to the Roku 3 specifically for the wired ethernet capability and have not been disappointed. The streaming speeds are much faster than wi-fi.

My Roku 3 freezes up every so often (a few days apart). I have to unplug it and plug it back again to get it to work.

I'm using Roku 3 and Chromecast. Roku 3 blows Cromecast away, fast interface, lots of channels... Best buy I did in a long while.

I've had my roku 3 for a year and it's on for like 6hrs a day everyday. I like that I can broadcast YouTube videos to it from my Chromebook.
