Believe the hype, this thing is great. Smooth interface and a sweet, simple remote make it easy to navigate through menus. Approximately ten trillion channels to choose from ensure a plethora of content. The content also continually updates/adds channels. This is the new benchmark for plug-n-play. Recommended for sure.

I received this product for Christmas and have been enjoying it very much since then.
The quality of the picture is great and for the most part it is easy to use. The only problems that I have encountered may or may not be caused by the Roku. Sometimes in Netflix when moving rapidly between the shows it starts stopping halfway between them and the freezes and the system must be restarted. Also occasionally the voice of the people becomes much to high or low for that person even though the picture appears normal...

Best streaming box

I've owned an apple tv and google tv as well. The roku is far superior in content. If you're not attached to one specific marketplace (amazon is included on the roku) there isn't a superior streaming box.

It is a good device, excellent for streaming online content. I would like to see more parental controls for families with young children. for example, on the home page there is always an advert for a movie or a TV show, some not appropriate for children. i would like an option to remove this. Also It does not have time controls for viewing like our Directv dvr has. It does not have the option of an access code for viewing, which would be nice when you want to enforce time restrictions.Would also like an option to display ONLY my channels. Otherwise a good device.
