I bought the Roku3 as a gift for my daughter. She raved about how convenient it was in seeing movies so I bought one for myself. She is right! I can see movies and TV shows anytime I want with a plethora of variety.

Great when it works

Easy interface - easy to activate - Loses wireless connection and the HDCP unauthorized error appears to often necessitating restarts. Sounds like a common error. I have replaced cables and still get problem

I purchased my Roku a couple of months ago and it is okay. I thought it was all the rage at the time but it's not bad.

Best streaming device on the market.

A couple of years ago I installed a Roku on a small TV in my craft room. It's been so successful for me that I decided to buy and install a 2nd one on the main TV in our family room. I tried the Amazon Prime device but it doesn't access as many channels as the Roku does. I highly recommend the Roku and it's very easy to install and use.

Pros: Easy to use, better netflix layout than apple TV. Lots of channels.
Cons: Video support for files from a USB drive is pretty spotty at best so I still have to hook up my laptop to the TV when I want to watch a downloaded movie :(

My Roku 3 was phenomenally easy to set up, and is very user-friendly. Lots of channels to choose from, and I like the headphone jack in the remote, too.
