Roku 3 solves problem

I had an old Roku (first generation) that kept saying please wait, loading in the middle of a Netflix show. It was really annoying, but I wasn't sure if it was my router or the Roku. I finally bought a new Roku and that solved the problem--it is very fast.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy to use

We have had our ROKU 3 for almost a year. It has been wonederful and very easy to use. I love the fact that there is an app for my I-Pad that allows me to use it as a remote.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I had kept wanting to purchase the Roku, but kept putting it off because I thought it would be too complicated to operate. Well to my surprise, I finally gave in and bought the Roku 3, and my whole family is so happy with it. Very easy to set up and use. Now I could not be without this product, it has saved me so much money, and my family is so happy with the shows we can now get without the cable.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great unit, best one yet!

The new Roku 3 has many more options that previous models, menus are laid out much better, and the unit is more responsive. Hulu app, which was a nightmare in Roku 2 seems to work much better. Just all around better unit. Worth the investment.

Freedom From Cable Repetition

We've been using our Roku for about a month or so. No looking back to cable. Free local TV and Roku for a 1/5 of the cable bill (and we had a minimum through cable, you'll probably save even more if you are not addicted to live PPV sports).

Bought the first one so that even though we had moved away from our church we are able to watch every Sunday from our home. Bought this one to put one in the bedroom my wife love Downtown Abbey and wanted to watch it before bed, but we love being able to watch programs on our schedule. Bought one for my sons family and they have cut the cable and only use Roku. We love the programming and there seems to be more all the time.

Long load time initially annoys. Have switched to using Hulu primarily because the app Netfix stalls 80% of the time since last update of the software. Moderately satisfied with Roku; the Netflix issue has soured Roku for me. Especially like the remote with the headphone jack. Wish interface for channel search had "featured channels" but then went on to the rest of them; seems the best new interesting channels are hidden (found online and only searchable with a code).
