Very fast

The Roku 3 is very fast, my husband bought a DVD player that connects to Netflix and Hulu but compared to the Roku it's super slow. It's great for those time when I had to cut the chord.

Purchased approx. 2wks. ago. For the most part so far I like it. I can choose what news I want to watch and skip what I don't. Just wondering with bad weather coming if I will still be able to get good pictures quality with my dsl.

Saw my sister's and had to have one, too! Then I saw the Roku 3, with the ear phones in the remote for late night viewing, so I don't keep my honey awake when I can't sleep. Love all the free channels, so many programs to watch! Glad I bought it!!

I suggest that the provision for a memory card could be better used to store streamed video rather than just to store channels. Other then that, I am very pleased with the player.

Sorry… It's awful!

At least it is awful for us. It simply would not work right. We are tech savvy and have multiple items connected to our wi-fi, and we had no problem connecting. It worked for a short time, but then got an error message that we since have read was a problem with others as well. Could hear the movie, but no picture, just a blue error message. Nothing we tried would fix it, and for the money it just wasn't worth the hassle. We since moved to a blue-ray DVD player and have no problems whatsoever. This was used on a Samsung TV.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
