A Game Changer

I am thoroughly impressed with the Roku 3. I purchased it as a replacement for my Roku 2. Nothing was wrong with the Roku 2, actually I liked it so much, I wanted to see if the 3 was better.
Before Roku, I used a PS3 or Blu-Ray player to access my content like Netflix and Amazon Prime Instant Video. However, using those devices took time to power up, go through the booting up process, and finally be able to be used. My Roku 3 is always ready to go, as soon as I push a button, I'm ready to go, it takes me less than 5 seconds from me to picking up the remote, to browsing through my favorite shows, movies and more.
Roku gives you access to a vast number of avenues of entertainment. It has your standard Netflix, Hulu Plus, and Amazon Instant Video. The value really became clear to me when I discovered that Roku supported Plex and Crunchyroll. Plex is an amazing service and Crunchyroll is a must have for any Otaku or casual Anime lover. I am so thrilled to have access to both of these services via my Roku.
If you're thinking about getting a Roku, stop. No more words, no more thought, just get it. It wouldn't be far fetched to say that it's changed entertainment for both myself and my family, for the better.

I upgraded from Roku 1 - well worth the price. I eliminated my cable and have achieved a substantial savings. Now I only pay for what I need.
The Youtube app is worth the cost of Roku 3 alone!!

revolutionised my TV viewing

I pay for several subscriptions, HBO, Qello, Netflix, Hulu plus, and basic TWC, with high speed internet I have so much choice, and when I want to watch it, in full HD. Add on Pandora, the media player, and a handful of free channels and this is the centre of all my entertainment. Wife and child love it too!

Best thing ever. I refuse to have anymore contracts with cable. I watch what I want, mostly free AND I can still stream just released movies for minimal fee.
The best feature is, it's small (fits in the palm of your hand) AND you can mount it to the back of your TV. Out of site! Super, super easy to set up. I am not tech savvy & I was able to set up with my wi fi within 15 minutes.
I have 3, one of them is one of the older models.
I would recommend this to a friend!
