I have a Roku 2 and a Roku 3 as well as a Amazon TV. The Roku 3 is the best of the 3 and I would gladly recommend it to anyone. It makes a great gift too.

Streaming is the new cable

Best investment I've made in awhile! Love the easy to set up, use and customizing features. Great being able to control my hulu, netflix and wwe network accounts with a simple no fuss remote. Being able to add new channels is great, paid channels, to fun to look for private channels, the possibilities are endless and up to you. The rental store is great, love how it looks up a movie for you, where to find it and compares prices. That store brings a redbox feature home without even having to leave home. This tiny machine is really the future of the way we watch media. Just paired this with a recently purchased HD tv broadcast cable antenna, both together slayed the cable company monsters. Thanks Roku!

I have had the Roku 3 now for about three months, and I am very pleased with it. I especially like the screen layout and the ease of adding to my list of movies and documentaries to watch in the future. The load times for Netflix is much improved over the older basic Roku, that I had before purchasing the Roku 3. I would recommend the Roku 3 without reservation. It is just a great product from my viewpoint.

Easy to setup and use

I have this product for I believe 3yrs. I love this little box. Its an easy setup to get started and really easy to use. My husband loves the menu organization so easy to understand and self explanatory too! I have been recommending this to all my peeps who are tired of cable/satellite like we were. I had a baby and we had to make some cuts between tv or interent....it wasn't that hard to decide which we cut! We will never go back! Free local channels with an atenna and all movies and tv shows (granted you get season before but not an issue withso much to see) you can watch! You are saving half the cost of what you paid for cable. Buying this once plus subscribing to netflix/hulu/amazon or all three is nothing to what you were paying.
Get on the cable cutting band wagon and get Roku its the only way to go. Its easy to use and the remote has a nice feature where you plug in headphones and the tv is silent so you can watch in bed without interrupting your loved one.

I absolutely love the Roku 3! Everything loads super fast (especially compared to my old Roku XD/S), you get high definition on available titles, 5 channel surround sound capabilities if you have a surround receiver, and access to all the popular channels and so many many more. The only thing to be aware of is that this model won't work with older TVs; you need to have a tv with hdmi connections. However, Roku does have other models that will work with older TVs having RCA connections. I have no complaints; this is a great little machine for entertainment choices.
