Great 1080p performance.

I have been a ROKU user for 8 months. The speed downloading movies on an internet
is really amazing. The 1080p picture is better that regular hd cable. Have had no trouble with the ROKU equipment at all. regular updates are automatic.I would highly recommend this over the other products that are available.

solid performance using a wired connection

We had an older wireless only Roku and really liked it, but it would occasionally freeze up to buffer the signal. We decided to upgrade to the Roku 3 because of its wired connection. Works great with no buffering evident. The earphones are poor qualify and the audio quality is marginal, at best Also, the layout of the Roku 3 remote control is tricky to get used to if you have been accustomed to an older Roku remote.

I have cut the cord with this product. I only have Cable Internet (For the speed in my area), Roku 3 and an Antenna for over-the-air tv. I love that I have just as much if not more content that I love watching then when I had cable tv. I pay far less for more of what I love to watch. Only one thing I wish this had was a OTA Antenna pass through with a Program guide so I can have an all in one box that I don't have to switch inputs on my tv (Yes I can be lazy if I want!). The best Roku player I have had and I had a XDS that I didn't like because it crashed and was so slow. Almost went to Apple TV and I decided to try Roku 3 and never regretted it.

Having owned a Sony Google TV system for a year that did not work, and was very expensive for a brick, I am pleased the Roku 3 does work. I expected little from the Sony but it could not even deliver Amazon Movies reliably with an fast ethernet.connection. Sony and Google will lose some of my patronage for the breach of trust.
This Roku works. Not many frills but that beats lots of frills that don't work. The little 3 is always on, kinda sleeping, which works great. I appreciate this for what it is, a simple reliable, so far, internet streaming device. Highly recommend over products with less stellar reviews. Like my old box I don't really ask much of the little 3. Amazon movies and maybe Pandora. All great.

Bought about 3 months ago, mainly watch Netflix, You Tube and Kim Clement !!
It is Great, you could watch 24 hours a day, there is so much. The Remote with head phone is Great idea !!!!

Fast Streaming box

I've been using the Roku 3 for almost a year now, mostly for Netflix, Hulu plus and Amazon video. The streams start almost immediately even over my wifi network. The wifi remote is handy, but does drop connection from time to time.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Greatly Improved

I had an older Roku model and purchased the Roku 3. I was impressed with the easy set up and the ease of navigating. The speed of downloading was greatly improved. We occasionally experience the Roku freeze which means: I have to unplug and plug the devise's power cord which reloads Roku after-which the device responds to the remote. I am not sure what causes this issue because I have tried new batteries and this still happens from time to time. This would be my only reason for not giving the Roku 3 a five star rating.
