I am very happy with Roku 3.
I own an older model and needed another one the choice was simple, Roku 3.
I would definitely recommend it to anybody.

Great Features, Remote failed in 3 weeks

It's fast. Usability is good. Way more powerful than the processor built in to my LG smart TV. I took off one star because the remote died after 3 weeks- I strongly getting an extended warranty. I wish the remote could control the TV volume- it only controls the headphone volume.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We've been a Roku household several years now. I got the whole family one of the first generation models one year for Christmas and shortly after that bought the next step up models for my bedroom. After several years I got a new tv and decided to get an HD model for my room and chose the Roku 3 based on reviews here and other websites.
I have not be let down. While the 1st 2 are still running smoothly and being used (the model I replaced was given to a family member) I would say this upgrade is still worth it. The interface is slicker and more user friendly once you get a feel for how it's setup. It responds more quickly. It has YouTube access and more channels available on it than my older models did.
We cut cable years ago and use only local tv and our Roku's for entertainment and aren't particularly missing cable.
I would and HAVE recommended to several people to get a Roku and would suggest this model in particular if you have the HD television to go with it. The picture is noticeably crisper and I enjoy the extra channels available to me on it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We have owned the Original Roku and all that have followed. The Roku 3 has taken all the cool features, added some more and made it fast as lighting. We use this little Roku to get BIG entertainment!
