Extremely wide veiwing choices

I bought my first Roku HD, which connects to the internet, about 4 years ago and it is still going strong. I bought my second Roku HD, which does not need to be connected to the internet, for a different TV and which I installed yesterday. I have to say that I prefer the older Roku. I prefer the layout for the chosen channels as they are clearer and not repeated, otherwise all is good.
I would recommend this to a friend!

So many channels to choose!

I bought this about a month ago and set it up without any problems. The only thing is if you forgot your wireless router password, it won't work! Thank goodness I saved all my passwords and setup was a breeze after that! I already had Netflix and had it synced with no problem. I love watching Korean dramas but can only watch 1 episode. You have to either get the premium upgrade otherwise it won't work. I watch a lot on youtube! That's the best! Other than that, we love watching Roku rather than the regular channels on tv cause there is sooooooooooo much to watch!!! We love it!

Roku3 Delivers

Roku3 delivers the apps I needed: Time Warner movies, and Amazon Prime movies.
MGo is a bonus I did not know of or expect. Other apps nice too, like TED, but my primary purpose for getting Roku3 was to reduce my movie costs from $18 per visit to the theater for wife and me. Since we love movies, even old ones and classics, we'll get a good return on our investment for the year.
Controlling Roku3 with iPAD is a nice touch since we both now have iPADs attached to our wrists. No more little remote to find under the love seat cushions. .
Harmony remotes are IR (line-of-sight), not RF like Roku3. So if you use a Harmony remote, you have to switch to the Roku remote app (for iPAD / Android) to control Roku3 screen. No big deal if you have iPAD conveniently nearby anyway.
Very satisfied Roku3 user. I even saved a few bucks by buying refurbished with SquareTrade warranty.

Great device. I payed $100.00 US. Almost limitless content. You supply the HDMI cable, TV and pop corn. Tons of free as well as premiun programming. "Get 2 they're small".
