Roku 3 - Overall impressions

It's been about 3 months since I bought the Roku 3. It is a good product but I have had numerous issues streaming Netflix movies. >50% of the titles have no audio and many movies freeze during playing leading to restarting the movie. For Nextflix specifically, I WOULD NOT recommend Roku 3. I have gone back to streaming Nextlix through the native app built into the TV and it works reliably!

Definitely the Roku 3! Simple to set up and awesome for listening privacy! I love the new feature where I can plug my favorite headset into the RoKu Remote and enjoy music or my favorite Netflix and Acorn programs. The video is outstanding and the simplified search is a really nice feature. You'll love it!

I love this gadget for my tv viewing. It was super easy to install (I am a retired senior) and I had it up an going very quickly. I especially like the ear phone plug-in to the controller. Very cool!!

My family and I have really enjoyed this product. If it weren't for my mom who lives with us wanting cable, we would have canceled it and just had the Roku. We recommended it to my niece who is just starting out and on a limited budget as an alternative to cable and she loves it too.

Just buy a Roku 3 already!

I've had my Roku 3 for about 9 months and I love it. The interface and remote are excellent--the easiest way to watch TV ever. I love that the remote doesn't have to be pointed at the box; it even works from another room. I tried an Apple TV but found it harder to use and it had fewer channels (in particular, no access to Amazon on Demand and Amazon Prime). I have Rokus on both my TVs now and wouldn't consider any other options. I cancelled my cable because we no longer watch anything other than the Roku.

I really like it better then the box, lots of cool stuff to watch , I am able to catch up on the BBC, PBS History and the Mystery Shows. Movies depending the apps service you select, way cheaper then Comcast for the same movie.

Roku is worth every penny, I would highly recomend it to everyone !
This will be my stocking stuffers to friends for the holidays.

What a great addition to our home and cottage! We have been able to enjoy numerous programs from Netflix and Hulu Plus. Closed captioning feature is a real plus for us as well as the pause. We have not paid a cable bill since our antennae pulls in over 60 channels and anything else we want Roku brings it to us.
