Easy to use great for kids and family

The Roku 3 is the best gadget I have bought in a long time. It really does everything it says it does. Very easy to hook up and everyone including my young children can operate it. Easy to select channels and many free movies and tv shows too. Love my Roku!

Could use some more channels but know they do add channels overtime and gets more exciting. I love my channels and I do have enough to keep me entertained when I'm at home. I'm looking forward to more features and channels. Thanks, Roku!!

Fast Set-up & Easy to Use

We have been using the Roku 3 now for several months. It is very easy to set up and even easier to use. There are lots of channels to choose from with a wide variety of genres.
My only negative about this Roku 3 is the motion sensor on the remote. It is easy to use for games, but I wish there was a way to turn the motion sensor off if it is not being used for a game. The way it is set up now, uses much more battery than necessary because the motion sensor is always on.

Life changer!

We've had a roku for a few months now and greatly enjoy it. We initially used amazon prime for movies and tv series but after having viewed netflix's offerings we'll likely change. There is just so much that you can view on the roku that it takes a lot of time to look. The roku has worked mostly very well and it has frozen a couple times but we just unplug it and plug it back in and it works fine after doing so. My son has a play station 3 that we use for streaming downstairs and it is nowhere near as fast and convenient to use as the roku. There is simply no comparison between the two as roku rules.

Excellent performance even during heavy clouds

I've had it now for a couple weeks, easy set up and easy to operate even for a techno-illiterate like me. I bought a smart TV for my parents a few months ago, that was neat but slow loading at times and signal would break and interupt once in a while. Roku3 is so much more encompassing, for instance I subscribed to Hulu plus the menus are set up much more user friendly than on the smart TV. It even remembers where you left off when watching a series over time. It's wonderful! I haven't gotten through all the channels available yet. One more thing I have satelite TV but it cuts out too much during cloudy days, must be the Northern latitude. I'll be thinking twice about sending in the next monthly payment.

Totally worth the price!!

I am the type of person that researches everything. I looked up plenty of other devices such as this to decide which is better. Honestly, the price for this product was the draw back because I was not sure if it was worth it. But once I plugged it in I realized it was the best decision I made. I have had it now for over 6 months and it has already paid off. I have smart bluray player that has similar apps built it, but it always messing up on me. With the roku 3 I never had that problem. I can truly say it's the best on the market.

I was using my "smart" TV and BluRay players for apps and the Roku 3 is waaayyy better! much faster, easier to use, simple remote. I mostly use Netflix and HBOGO but have checked out some other apps.
