The Roku is an excellent alternative to having to subscribe to a cable service where I have to pay for a multitude of shows that I will never watch.

Often Irritating

Love it when it's working well. Unfortunately, too often, while watching Netflix (really all I use Roku for), I experience problems. (sometimes in the middle of watching something). Not sure if the problem is due to Netflix, Comcast or Roku, but very irritating.

I've had this for awhile now, and i must say that over all i am pleased with it. Some of the minor issues i have with it are tolerable though. One is that sometimes if will freeze on me and i have to reset it. Another is if i'm in netflix and surf the programs it will sometimes lag on me and or stop for a few seconds and then work normal again. Other then that like i said, i am pleased with my Roku.

Better than expected

We loved our first Roku box, so when we got another TV we wanted another Roku box for it too. The first box was great, but the features on the new Roku 3 were even better. Easy to set up, easy to use.

I have had this roku for about a year and the only thing that needs to be corrected is the audio. It will not play some audio that is required on some movies or tv series. I have to use my apple tv to play these tv series or movies.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I tried and read about other similar devices but this seems like the best one there is.
Keep up the great work Roku. I can hardly wait to see what could be improved for the Roku 4.

With Roku I can watch movies , videos, tv shows, music videos and more at the touch of a button. and no ads,well maybe a few.And at any time I want.

Sound doesn't work with a receiver.

Tried every conceivable setting but no sound came through the receiver. Worked OK when connected directly to the TV but why would I listen to regular TV speakers when I've got a great sound system?
