This was my first streaming device. It is pretty user friendly. The interface is good. I have nothing to compare it to but it does what it's supposed to with minimal fuss.
I would recommend this to a friend!

If you didn't have to register each selection and if you could actually get current movies for free with no monthy charge for premium chanels it would be great

Very easy to use

After trying to use features that came with blu-ray player including shortcuts to Netflix, Vudu, etc. I became frustrated with the version limitations and purchased a Roku 3. I've been delighted with the ease in which links can be added as well as the navigation between and within links. We currently have NetFlix, Amazon, Vudu, and Acorn TV connected with a wired high speed CAT-5 cable and an HDMI cable to our receiver. Finding movies and shows is virtually effortless.

I love everything about it - all the apps I use are simple and direct - except Netflix. I hate the new auto-play feature that continues playing episodes without intervention. It's easy to lose your place which episode you're on. The only place I see this feature is on Roku - bad reflection on Roku.

Fastest Roku yet!

I bought my Roku 3 a few months ago now. I own two similar devices by other manufacturers and this is by far the best. I have also used a Roku 2 and was impressed by it too but the Roku 3 faster. I find it the best model in a truly impressive line of streaming devices.

I have had more trouble with the 3 than I did with the 2hd. I thought it was a good idea to get the earbuds so I could watch movies while others sleep, it eats batteries for breakfast! I knew it would drain, but it really drains. Its really not a lot different than 2hd, I prefer that one.
