it's OK, but not perfect

Using several month from now, first purchase was a static (snow and popping sound) I go back to the store and replace Roku. The second one does the same thing - static. Try to find solution - nothing helps. Still have the sound and visible snow, unless unplug the device, gets annoying.

I bought the Roku 3 after reviewing all the competing products and I have been very happy with the content and ease of use. The headphones on the remote were an unanticipated added bonus, especially when watching late at night. I use the Roku 3 more than my cable and Blu-Ray combined!

Almost perfect

Installed a month ago. So far, using Amazon Prime, Netflix, and M-Go movies. The cross-channel search that allows price comparison is great. Its size is ridiculously small. Build quality is high. Desired enhancements include (1) a single account to pay for all channel activity, (2) a global watch list, (3) more consistent behavior among channel apps for such as the Return button (for which the consistency is high but not complete).

Been using Rokus for a couple of years. Have 3 now. They keep getting better. Would recommend. You need to integrate voice search (one that works), now that Amazon has it :)

Great Device

Who would of thought they would come out with a device that would make any TV a smart TV. I bought this because at the time it was the only one with Youtube. Its a great addition to any Tv viewing you might want. There are lots of different channels and lots of movies and shows. I highly recommend it.

I hardly bother with broadcast or cable TV, especially during the hiatus of shows during the summer. The amazing variety of channels available is amazing. Right now I'm vacationing at the beach, but I brought the Roku with me for entertainment. The only thing I can think of that would be an improvement would be the ability to arrange the channels in an order that I desire rather than just adding them to the bottom.

WELL WORTH THE MONEY IT COST - I HAVE SO MUCH ENJOYED THE FREEDOM IT HAS BROUGHT ME TO BE ABLE TO WATCH WHAT I WANT TO WATCH AND NOT WHAT THE CABLE COMPANY FORCES ME TO WATCH. THERE HAS BEEN A FEW HICK-UPS BUT NOTHING MAJOR.
