Bought so that I can watch movies when I want to and escape unnecessary TV programs. Glad that I bought it. Able to access Amazon prime is fantastic.

Been using a roku for more than 4 years, can't imagine what I did without it. Huge amount of free content. Good alternative to the cable company.

I can't get some stations I use to get. I've tried rebooting numerous time. I am thinking about going to u-verse

I really don't hardly ever use it due to so many channels that cost money to get. Not really saving anything so I am thinking about getting some of my cable features back.

Wanted to cut down on satellite bill. With Hulu and Amazon prime we watch pretty much everything we did before and we pay 20% of what we did. Don't think we will be going back anytime soon.

Perfect streaming device with no creepy attachment

Roku is the only streaming player out there with no creepy ties to their own store, or tracking what you watch to better drive ads etc etc. It's the only player that makes adding custom channels so easy, and all of that would be enough.
Not only does it bring that to the table, but it's also just a solid stand alone product that does what it says it will on the tin. This thing takes up very little space, outputs high quality video from just about every provider you could ask for.
The interface is a BIT clunky, but that is easily forgiven because it does what it's supposed to do (stream video) so flawlessley
I would recommend this to a friend!
