This thing is unbelievable...in a good way!!! I didn't realize how restricted I was by having traditional cable. There is NO LIMIT to the things you can watch and learn with thousands of movies, shows, documentaries...you name it…that you can get on Roku! After the first day, I realized that I hadn't even scratched the surface of what was possible to view, during all the years I paid for cable. Not only that, the Roku never stalls, lags, or disconnects. I have a Roku 3 with high-speed internet of 60 mps, with a Samsung HD TV. The shows and movies are beautiful in real HD. I say “real HD” because some of the “HD” channels my cable provider offered were actually only 720p. Watching the same shows now, with the Roku's beautiful true 1080p, is like watching them for the first time. Again, cable really limits your world in so many ways (and then gouges you with overpriced garbage.) Except for high-speed internet, I have “cut the cord” completely, and have never looked back. I only wish I had done it sooner, and saved myself the $200/month I was paying for cable, a LONG time ago. Love, love, love this Roku!!!!

I was using my laptop to stream programs which worked well but it tied up my laptop for other uses. I love Roku. It is amazing, easy to use.

I received my Roku as a gift. I don't have cable, and don't feel like I need or want it now. There are many free channel options, and a ton of affordable paid choices as well. I really love the Roku3!

I bought this ROKU a couple months ago and am really pleased that I can get all my favorite series on TV. I just wish I could get HGTV.

I bought the Roku 3 about a month ago to reduce my cable bill. It works very well, and the search option is great. With just Hulu and Netflix I get a ton of content. If you subscrubed to all the other media providers (Amazon, redbox, etc.) I'd imagine you'd never need to rent another movie or show. The only downfall is no sports.
