I read many reviews before purchasing. All said that the Roku 3 was worth the extra price. They were right! I am very happy with the quick speed of the R-3, and get very frustrated when using other TV's or DVD's to connect wirelessly. They all seem sooo slow in comparison.

Most excellent tech purchase

We cut the cord six months ago and without the Roku there's no way the wife would have lasted. My only real complaints are no sleep timer and maybe the weak infrared for use with other remotes. Besides that it is really a terrific device.

I have a year with the roku 3 player and it has been great. Was paying too much for cable switch to this and got netflix and hulu plus my toddler boys don't know the difference. And has saved me hundreds of dollars. I can't wait for the roku TVs. I'm not tech savy and I installed the roku so easy made me feel proud of myself. No more bothering guy friends. :)

Awesome Device!

I currently have 5 Roku boxes, all of which are still in use. However the Roku 3 (I have 2 of them) is my favorite so far. It is an exceptional device, It's small, fast, capable, and easy to use. I miss the optical audio out, but that is only because i'm using some older audio equipment for my home theater set up. I have recommended this product to friends and family for several years, they all have one and love them too.

Has almost all the good apps and they all work very smoothly. Interface is very elegant. Only wish it includes feature where we can cast anything (like airplay) from smartphone.

We were happy with our old Roku but decided to upgrade to the Roku 3. Wow. Everything you want from Internet streaming is there, now that YouTube is a channel.
