Good but could be better.

Works great, but needs a casting channel so I can watch and hear what is showing on my laptop - and not something that costs more money. Also, streaming movies are also limited - many good Netflix movies are still DVD only.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great unit w/Small Exception

I have had the Roku 3 for several moths now & have really enjoyed all the great features. The only minor issue I would have would be the speed of moving from one menu to the next; example from Netflix to Amazon, etc. I still don't consider this to be a negative & is the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars. From reading the reviews of the Amazon Fire TV, I understand this has been addressed though. But you certainly can't beat the size of the Roku units & the ease of hook-up. I would recommend the Roku 3 to anyone.

And awesome device that meets our needs and simplifies out life. We used to have a MythTV computer that I built. We loved it but cut the cord and this has made it relatively seamless.

One small powerfull device

Offers many ways to stream tv video to your set in HD that's second to none, this little box takes less than a fridge light bulb to run. The content has been growing constantly to the point you can just about get any type of video out there on the net.
