Roku 3 has everything a person could want in T V

I canceled my cable, knowing before the Roku 1 I owned had many options, but bought the Roku 3 has so much more, and i am very happy .

I am so satisfied with Roku 3 I have the two and the earlier models but the three is wonderful. I don't miss cable at all plus I'm saving money. I can even play angry birds if I like thanks Roku for all of the television viewing options you make available.

Great savings and great entertainment value

Thanks to Roku I have been able to greatly reduce my cable TV expense. I watch the shows that I want on demand - without the cost of a DVR and/or a premium subscription.
Roku provides great value - the initial cost of the device is easily offset by the savings from the reduced cable TV expense. Depending on the cable service, the cost of a Roku device can be recovered within 3-4 months of downsizing the cable subscription.
I also LOVE that there is a Youtube app (and more apps) which allows me to view content that is not shown on mainstream media - and I can watch the content on my big screen TV instead of the small screen of a notebok PC, a tablet, or a smartphone.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We have three Roku devices and are now free of the expense of cable. We have supplemented our viewing with quality program available on Roku and will never go back to cable. It is a great way to watch TV.

great except for faulty remote

Got this several months ago & loved it imediately. It has replaced my cable TV almost entirely. Major problem is the known issue with the enhanced remote, which constantly disconnects from the Roku, making it totally useless. Very annoying to be constantly having to reboot the Roku & go thru "pairing" the remote every time I use it.. Why doesn't Roku fix this well known problem with their products?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I get my entertainment needs met by watching Roku channels and online news & TV. My savings are incredible. Roku's picture quality is excellent. I love it.

When my girlfriend and I were moving into our apartment, we wanted to save money, and thought by cutting cable we could save a bunch of money over the long run. We don't watch TV all that often. I was browsing for alternatives, and came across the Roku, and have been so happy I found this! It works effortlessly; it's simple and easy to use, and has all the viewing options we could have dreamed of.
