Anyone who says they are ditching their cable in favor of this....is crazy!
Too many ads, too much junk.
After just a few minutes I was struggling to find something decent to watch.
I guess I'll be keeping my Netflix subscription too.

Roku 3 updates great

I was given a Roku 1 as a gift. I had recent problems with Acorn and I thought I should update the machine. I had trouble with the Roku new settings. It took a great Roku team to help me. No one gave up. So enjoy my senior evenings now.

We were on vacation recently and our hotel had terrible television reception and only a few channels. We purchased ROKU 2 to help entertain the kids before bedtime. Easy to use-did the job! It's now our favorite way to watch movies at home or while traveling!

It meets my needs. There are options to buy services that compliment each other. Like one app is for movies in HD and another is for current TV programs.

We recently bought our third Roku streaming device and are completely satisfied. We have three Roku boxes and other than the higher speed of the Roku 3 unit, there is very little perceptible difference. They all perform very well!
