Great Upgrade

Let's get the only negative comment out of the way. Sometimes when my Roku3 is plugged in I can't get reception for my local channel through my antennae, so I have to unplug the Roku. I don't know if that is the fault of the Roku3, my antennae or the signal from the TV station. We live in an isolated, rural area and the signal can vary based on the weather. My criticism is that there is no way to turn the power off from the remote controller. I do have to unplug it.
The rest of the review is all positive. I LOVE the Roku3. I had been streaming Netflix through my PS3 after cutting the connection to Direct TV satellite services. However, I was unable to get Hulu+. The connection was so slow that it would stop to buffer so often it was like a bad stutter. Now with the Roku3, I can watch programs on Netflix and Hulu+ and a whole lot more. It was easy to set up and easy to use. I do recommend it to other people in our area who have the same problems with TV viewing in our area.

The only thing I would ask for in a future version (Roku 4) would be voice search similar to the Fire box. I would never use Fire, as they don't support VuDu.

ROKU is extremely simple to set-up and use. The remote and the navigation are very intuitive. Even I can do it!!

I have thoroughly enjoyed using this item. Setup is so easy which was great for me as I have limited setup experience. I only had one issue after years of use and was quickly assisted via on-line chat and issue was resolved. I would recommend this item to anyone.

Great selection of video

I have purchased at total of 5 ROKU units, 4 ROKU2X units and 1 ROKU3. I gave 2 away as gifts and kept 3 for myself. All I can say is the video available is outstanding! ROKU has so many apps available, there is no need to purchase a "smart" TV if you have a ROKU unit. TO say I am pleased with my ROKU units is a definite understatement, I use them everyday and as I have one on all my TV's in my home, I can always have excellent video and music available for my enjoyment.

Bought it to supplicate the ps3 my children always stream through. Roku 3 is lightening fast and has hands down the best user interface.
