I've had mine for about 2 months. Easy to use, intuitive and works flawlessly. I could not be happier! Would strongly recommend this to everyone.

I canceled my Cable with Charter. They raised prices, too Expensive. So I read about the Roku and liked the price so bought one. Best decision ever. You do have to watch though, there are free apps. to watch witch are great but some apps. have a monthly fee, so if your not careful it could get costly.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I purchased the Roku 3 because I have a netflix and other programs that the Roku supports. I also cut my cable off, saves money. I love it! I can also watch my shows with the headphones, the remote has a jack.

Had this since last Christmas. As with cable and satellite TV, there is a lot of stuff I doubt anyone watches. Movies? Plenty, but most have a cost, rent or buy. Many stations also have a cost involved. One of the reasons one would buy ROKU is to get rid of cable, but as far as I can tell, if you want to watch "live" TV, you have to have a cable connection......kind of defeats the purpose. I'm still looking at ROKU, finding out about it, but can't say I'm really happy. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because it does get a lot of channels, and you don't need cable.

Best little device ever, who needs Cable when you

I have had my Roku for apx. 3-5 years now, got it not long after they first came out as an alternative to pricey Cable. Yeah Smart TV and DVD players do essentially the same thing, but you won't get as many channels and you can't take them with you. With access to Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon as well as MGo, you can stay busy watching for hours.
The advantage of Roku, outside of the price and being around the longest, is,the fact that it is portable. When I house sit or travel I can take it with me as it is small, and all I need is a TV with an HDMI slot and a network. Not likely to take a Smart TV along.
Plus, I tend to stay clear of multi-function devices. When one component breaks or goes bad you lose the entire item. Now if my TV dies I still have a working Roku that will work with a new TV, and I don't have to pay extra for a smart device.
Totally love my Roku!

Works Perfectly

I've had the Roku 3 about a month. Had Netflix streaming issues with my Sony Bluray. I have to say the Roku has lived up to it's promises. Streaming is super fast and all the buffering is gone. Plus it is so easy to setup and operate. Good job Roku!
