As good as I had hoped

I had been thinking about getting a Roku for a while, and when the Roku 3 came out, it looked to be the model I was waiting for. I am not very technically gifted, but it was a breeze to set up and use. We are really enjoying having something to watch during the summer doldrums.

Cannot beat Free!

When my ATT U-verse hit $200 a month I told the wife something has to happen as my parents house payment in the 1960's and 1970's was only $60. Got the Roku and linked it to Netflix account. The Roku instantly made my 42 Plasma a super smart TV with the ability to look at Face Book and You Tube. My biggest problem in firing U-Verse was local channels and the ability to record shows. Found Aereo and I was set, fired U-Verse and even the wife said great job while saving $140 a month! Things were great and a large part of it was Roku! Since then the US Supreme Court shut down Aereo and I had to go back to a basic channel package. Please make a super Roku that allows DVR recording of antenna TV shows and I will be set!

It is convenient to setup and works great. It is fast and responsive. I like the confirmation tone/beeps while navigating thru menu.

I have other devices that do basically what this does, but the interface for the Roku 3 is sleek and quick, plus it's much more convenient than having to turn on a game system or use my cell phone to stream video to the TV.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Already having Smart TVs and Blu-ray players in my home, I got a Roku 3 because of a friend's advice. Wow! I could not be more satisfied with the performance and convenience of this little "wonder box". Excellent product, love it!

I did purchase this a month ago. And if you are like me on the go and watch your shows when you can you will love this. On down time i can watch episode or whole season ans even found new shows never new where out there.

I bought my Roku- 3 about 4 months ago and it's really great, just the power light go's out when u don't use it every day. over all it's great.
