Great TV Viewing... And no expensive cable bill! There are lots of channels to choose from at no fees.

Friend bought me this and I am amazed - going to go buy another one for my bedroom now. Loving this so much I'm creating a channel for my church. Truly the wave of the future.

First-ever Roku player

My wife and I got rid of cable and went with the Roku 3 over the other options (Apple TV, Amazon, etc.) after reading reviews on customer satisfaction. It offers a ton of viewing options (Netflix, Amazon, HBO, WatchESPN, etc.) plus games and options to rent movies.
Lately it has begun to slow down when loading titles, but other than that it's worked tremendously and is extremely easy to use.
I don't see us going back to cable anytime soon now that we have a Roku player.

I bought it a month ago and like it so far. Lot of programming to select from and new channels added every so often. Nice portable size to fit in our complex web of entertainment systems.

awesome TV addition

I guess I would consider myself a low level newbie cord cutter. The roku box is great along with all new content being added for young and old. Only down side I found was volume control is absent unless using headphones which drain remote batteries quite quickly. Love the box, hoping more networks at least broadcast would see the potential of this wonderful steaming potential.

My only complaint it that it takes a while to start up. And you can't search for a channel in the channel store.

Best Device for Streaming Video!

I always used my PS3 or Wii to stream video so I didn't think I needed a Roku, but since buying the Roku 3, I now want another one for my bedroom. It's so much faster and so much more simple than the other devices, plus the ability to listen through headphones on the remote is a so nice. I'm also getting one for my mom for Christmas because she has such a hard time using other devices for streaming and this is so simple.
I would recommend this to a friend!
