A fun, great product

I bought this unit a month ago and find that it has more accessibility than my Apple TV. I can access Netflix and Amazon Prime on this unit and so can view many more movies than I could before

Easy to use.

I use the Roku to watch amazon prime movies and netflix. I do not usually watch commercial tv anymore. I have a antenna and no cable and never had cable. TV has always been free. I have 15/5 internet connection and stream movies 4 hours or more a day with no problems. When everyone is asleep I plug in my Bose headphones into the remote and I control the volume from the remote. The tv goes silent and I can watch without disturbing the family. I stopped using the apply tv, too small and limited channel selections. The Roku remote is the right size for my hands.

enjoy our roku

we live on our boat, so getting regualar tv can be tough, but our roku brings us everything we want except live tv(obviously). so easy to install- just plug it in and watch everything you want to see or listen to any music you want.
a couple of suggestions that would be nice;
being able to construct a mix of music artists of our choice- we listen to many artists, but wish we could combine them
it seems to add to "shows you watch" ranndomly and lots we never watch. would like a way to clear those out
we really like roku and will keep it even when we have live tv again. thanks for a great product!!!!!

Simple to Set Up and Operate

The Roku 3 has been a great addition to our entertainment technology. It was easy to install and set up for initial operation, and is very intuitive to use. Occasionally, if it has not been used in several days, I find we must "wake it up" by unplugging power and waiting about ten seconds to power it up again, but otherwise it has been very responsive and simple to operate.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Only pubs channel is watchable. By the time program loads I loose interest and am doing something else. May be Verizon WiFi is just too slow but that's all we get in Baltimore city

I now have had my Roku 3 for over a year and it completes my collection of streaming devices (unless Roku 4 comes out and has something REALLY special!). I still have the original Roku which had every possible type of connection (kinda miss that once in a while), also have the old Roku 2. The 3's wireless earphone capability is the best feature for watching movies after the wife goes to bed! I also like the selection of apps that can be added to my personal list however, a lot of the other movies channels are useless as they are either too expensive or use commercials to interrupt the movies every few minutes. I now see that even the Roku 2 has the earphone feature! Keep it up folks, number one product! The Wii isn't supported anymore, the Chromecast has some useful features but gets really hot and sometimes won't work at all. Only one tiny bit of info feedback - the memory card storage for a micro SD card is limited to 4 GB! Will not accept anything higher.
