sound problem

My roku 3 connects via HDMI to my television. The TV sound has to be raised almost to the max to be able to hear voice dialog making the other sounds deafening. The rest of the interface is very clean and nice.

Worthless without remote

You can use the app on your phone only if you know the IP address for your Roku. If you don't have the remote there is no way to find it. It is worthless to me now, don't bother with this piece of junk.

Bought the Roku to watch the World Cup. Have an account with Xfinity. Worked great the first two games I watched, but after that could NEVER get it to load a live game. Ended up watching on my computer instead. VERY DISAPPOINTED.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I'm very happy with my roku player. Its super easy to use. We've been able to cut down a ton on our cable bill thanks too roku.

We love our Roku! It's has the most apps and features of any of the set top boxes in a tiny convenient package. The remote with headphone jack is a very nice touch.
