Goodbye, Cable!

I am a new Roku user. I purchased the Roku3 a month ago, and I'm in LOVE! The setup is incredibly easy. Just plug-in, and follow the setup menus. The browsing is super friendly, and I love the fact that you can plug headphones into the remote control. What a marvelous idea! I am done with cable. I already used several paid services, including Hulu, Netflix, and Amazon, so this just improve my viewing experience. Ditch your iPad watching, ditch cable, and check out Roku!

No xfinity/comcast - HBO Go

It was a big disappointment to learn the product is not compatible with HBO Go if you have Comcast/Xfinity Internet service. I also expected some games, but could not find any action games in the menu.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

great product and easy to setup. Only complaint is that periodically things freeze up and ROKU needs to be rebooted (unplug wait 30 seconds and plug it back in).
Streams HD video 720p wirelessly without a hiccup using PLEX app. Have not tried 1080P wirelessly. has capability to connect via cat5 or cat6 hardwire as well.
HDMI to Pioneer amp and out to TV a breeze. Picture quality excellent.

Someone recommended buying on. In one fell swoop, it solved our streaming problems that we were having through a DVD player and introduced other great features such as streaming content from the phone and using the phone as a remote. It brought our TV back to life. I hadn't previously believed that Netflix could actually deliver HD quality TV.

WE have had Roku since December and we absolutely love it. You can customize it to your choices and there are many choices. I don't know how we got along without it! My husband is disabled so going out to the movies is not an option and this little box is just the device that brings the movies to us! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Awesome to replace our DirectTV movie channels

I bought this after talking to a friend who couldn't stop raving about it. All I needed was an alternative to paying too much every month for movie channels (that we sometimes never got around to watching). Just about unlimited watching potential.

Great little device. Very fast and reliable! Excellent streaming performance with Netflix, Amazon, and YouTube, plus many other channels. I had an issue with the PBS channel, (that wasn't even Roku's fault,) and they fixed it immediately! Great service and product! Now if we could just get a channel to watch and record our local TV channels, we'd be set!! We love our Roku 3!
