COULD BE BETTER

Has some major design flaws in my opinion.
-started with an error message "hdcp unauthorized..." After reserching this I found out many people have it and it has to to with the "hand shake" between the Roku and TV. I did not want to talk to any "costumer service" people as I concluded it's just wasted time based on my previous experiences with over the sea "costumer service" with extremely limited knowledge and big heavy
accents. I am able to go around this takes some changing back and forth of the input channels on TV.
- can't control volume from the roku's remote

Ridiculously easy

I bought and returned a Roku about 3 years ago because it was difficult to set up and there wasn't much content available. Now, the story is the exact opposite - super easy to set up, lots and lots of content - a great product and a great value. I'm thinking of dumping cable, actually. Thanks Roku!

Very easy to set up

I bought my Roku about a month ago and so far it is great. Lots of variety to watch...and I'm still in the learning process. It's is easy to set up and operate. Only issue I have with it is not being able to get the free local stations, ABC, CBS and NBC.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I don't know how I lived without my new best friend! I bought this because my TV is not a smart TV and I'm very happy with it. I almost donated the TV (only a few years old) because I wanted a smart one.

Easy to use but gets stuck!

I bought the player about a month ago.
Pros: extremely easy to install. Easy to access channels.
Cons: constantly have to disconnect from wall because it gets stuck on one of the channels. No clear OFF button.

Needs to be reset often after having for a while

I am still pretty happy with my ROKU, but I have to add that after having it since just before Christmas of 2013 I have been having issues with it for the last two months or so. It seems that it needs to be reset almost every time I use it. This is becoming annoying to say the least. I would like to see some type of update for it.
