Just a month into owning my roku3 and having only scratched the surface, I've seen the future. It's here now. Cable's successor is roku. Get it. You'll never look back.

Exceeding expectations.

Very literally, I'm blown away at how great this thing is. I remember using my gaming consoles for youtube and netflix and hulu but the quality was never consistent. With the Roku it's always perfect and it exceeded my expectations by FAR. I've actually cancelled my television service and pay only for internet now. I don't watch the news and if I REALLY need to see a live sporting event I can go watch it at a bar. Besides those two things ROKU has everything else and then some. I imagine that in time as the success grows more and more options will become available for customers. Get on board.

We bought this after a TWC person told us we could eliminate a cable box with it. Set up was easy but the TWC connection is unreliable, get a try again later message. It's not my wifi, everything else works great. The other issue my husband can't get past is that there aren't any numbers for channels and it takes to long to find what you want. Device works fine, to many "need to pay" sites. Kept it as an extra "box" for the grandkids.

The Roku 3 was faster than I had expected. It made navigating the applications that much better. One negative is that the batteries will drain quickly in the remote if you primarily use the headset.

I bought it over a month ago and love it. I rarely watch anything on basic cable. It streams and reacts very quickly, great product.

The Roku 3 can run laps around my Xbox One.
It's quicker, more responsive, & supported with more priority by 3rd party developers like Netflix & Hulu Plus.
