Very Fast TWO Core CPU My old Player WD TV Media Player very Slow it would drop out all the time.

i chose the roku over cable and tv for its applications.
Though I did expect more free apps .
most off all the good ones require a credit card which some people don't have..need to have more choices.
i still have my digital antenna hooked up for local channels..ear buds went out after about a months worth of use..
Overall its ok.

Bought the Roku 3 to use streaming Amazon Prime but realized just how much more it gives you. Listen to Pandora radio a lot plus many more channels. Great decision on my part to buy one.

I was contemplating on purchasing but I'm very pleased I did. Our internet offered here is one step above DIAL UP. Yes, unfortunately you read that correctly. It takes less than 10 seconds to load a whole movie I have a blue ray player that takes Netflix 2-3 mins to load something. I will be purchasing 2 more of these.

Could not keep audio with my other device, purchased the Roku3 and it is like watching regular tv. Loads super fast, perfect playback.

Great device, lacking a few features

I really like my Roku 3, but it's a huge bummer that there's no support for Chromecast or Airplay. I know those are sort of proprietary, but some way to implement or emulate them is vital in the future. Some content services don't have a Roku channel and only support Chromecast or Airplay to stream to a TV. It would also be neat if Roku tracked what content has been watched. Plex can do this, but I honestly don't like to bother with it and find it easy to just use the Roku's native apps to get content.

I know things sometimes break, but my roku quit working after two weeks after I bought it, so I had to return it. So now I don't know what to think. So I can't really rate it; didn't have it long enough.
