Roku is a great streaming device

I purchased 3 Roku-2s before Roku-3 was available. When Roku-3 with dual band extended range wireless and YouTube was available I added 2 Roku-3s for a total of 5 great boxes. The versatility, ease of use and news/entertainment options provide tremendous capability in one little box. Competitors are trying to catch up but Roku keeps moving ahead with a great R&D program. I'm particularly impressed with the excellent customer service whether by 800 number or online. Roku seems to sincerely care about customer satisfaction. I have recommended Roku to friends and family. The current users I recommended range from San Diego to New York to the San Francisco Bay area.

Who Needs Cable

I have had a Roku 3 and 2 for several months, and I could not be more pleased with the available programming. I am no techie, but set up was a breeze. I even take it on some of our trips where wi-fi is available.
I had an issue with no sound on one of my channels recently, and Roku tech walked me through the solution.
Don't know anything about other streaming devices, but the Roku works just as promised!

Love my Roku, so happy to be watching only what I want instead of all the trash that cable and other companies charge insane amounts of money for. Everyone should rebel and leave their TV company for Roku, maybe then they will start to get it... We want to watch what WE want to watch!!!

Password problem

Have no idea but could not get into my account. I clicked the link to get a temp password. Over an hour went by no reply. Went to the chat, that was a 36 minute wait. Only problem the password would not work. So I called Roku. waited and waited. Then nice woman answered and I told her my story. Then another email came in with a second password. I tried it and same thing, would not accept it. So she asked for the temp password.. Then she said know type 123456 in under your new password. I did and got in. Then she told me change the password. And the rest is history. Took some time but it was fixed.

I bought my first Roku a couple years ago. Mostly just watch Netflix on it. Hulu will not let me stream the show I want. so I deleted Hulu. I love Roku. Always something to watch.

Cord cutter here. I use my Roku 3 to watch Netflix, Amazon Prime and rent movies on M-Go. Plus, I get live TV and DVR with Aereo. I'm controlling the Roku 3, TV, surround sound and blu-ray player with a Logitech Harmony 300 universal remote, so no mess of controllers littering the sofa. Saving money and not dealing with the ridiculously clunky cable box interface. Couldn't be happier.

I did buy one, only thing I' m concerned with is that it gets hot when not in use..They need to put and on and off button.
