Love it and got a 2nd

my wife got me one for our bedroom for christmas and it didn't dissapoint. It's used exclusively for streaming NetFlix. I have cable and don't plan on paying for other channels. We got a 2nd for the family room both get weekly use.
Great investment for anyone and I've had not streaming issues.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Amazing Player....

It was tough deciding between this player and another media player but Im so glad I purchased the Roku player! Only thing i would like is an audio output on the actual player for direct sound options.

Can't Control Roku 3 with Custom Remote

The Roku 3 is a pretty terrific piece of hardware. I have really only one issue. My clients are typically older and don't care about motion control for video games and the like. All they want to do is control what's showing on the screen in the most pleasing way possible. My company spends many hours designing the interface of the custom remote controls used and now have no ability to control the Roku 3 as we have in the past with InfraRed codes. Now customers have 2 devices needed to simply scroll through the apps or movies within the Roku 3. My customers want to simplify not add more complexity. Want to make the volume on the screen or speakers louder? The Roku 3 can not do this. Pick up the custom remote and that will do everything in an intuitive way with the exception being controlling the Roku 3. Some reviews say IR is still a part of the 3 but according to Roku's tech supporters it is not. Our company is transitioning our clients to a digital platform that will control most items via IP but there are over 60% of our customers that presently don't care to update. I do hope with future devices you take a step forward but remember what broughtt you to this point in time. Not everybody has unlimited funds to be on the leading edge of technology.

Roku streaming stick

So nice not having to connect my ipad to the tv every time I wanted to watch a movie on netflix! We'll worth the money.

Broad range of content, Fast, Simple, and I love the built-in headphone option in the remote!!! The only major suggestion I would make as of right now is add a way to disable the motion sensors in the remote and make the remote rechargeable.

Great little gadget

I have six TV's in my home. Three are connected to a paid service and three receive regular service. My lovely little Roku is connected to the one located by my home office which has now become my private little inexpensive retreat. I love it!

Cut the Cable Cord

I wish I had known about Roku long before now. I was spending over $200 a month on cable and internet and now, my internet and paid accounts for Roku are about $75! This service is amazing and I'm telling as many people as I can about it!
