Amazing product and even better customer service!

We bought the Roku because we do not pay for cable and it has been worth every penny! We had it set up in about two minutes. The interface is very user friendly and the streaming speed is incredible. We were having a few issues with the batteries staying in our remote, so I emailed Roku even though I bought it on Amazon. Roku's customer service got back to me almost immediately and sent a replacement remote at no charge or hassle to me. We received our replacement remote within 3 or 4 days of me writing the email. How amazing! We use ours everyday and tell all our friends what a great product it is. For only a one time cost of the player, you can enjoy all your favorite apps and more. Best purchase ever!

Superb player - you cannot find anything better!

I purchased this streaming player and was amazed how easy it was to set up. In addition, the stream quality of video is great. Same quality of digital cable services. Connected very easy to my Apple Extreme Express wireless router it connected with without any problems. I love the small remote with headphones so I can watch video at night without disturbing apartment neighbors.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Better than Apple TV, hands down.

I have the most recent Apple TV and the Roku 3. The Roku is faster, more intuitive, and overall a better product. The only down side is the no easy way to mirror tablet, phone or computer content to the player, which Apple TV can do (with compatible products, ie., iPad etc.)
Services like Netflix are easy to use, once again beating the pants off of Apple TV.

From ease of installation to ease of use, you can't go wrong with the Roku 3. I was able to reduce my cable bill by $50.00 a month, while seeing programs unavailable to me before getting the Roku 3.

Great but Looses Setup

I have enjoyed my Roku 3; however, it continually looses setup for Amazon Prime and Netflix. Each time it looses setup, I have to remove Netflix and Amazon Prime, power of the Roku, power it back on and add the Netflix and Amazon Prime back again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very good selection of movie channels and mostly all in HD.Very little buffering picture flows freely.Would like to see some of the live TV in HD.

cut the cable and dump the dish

after canceling Dish and hours of trying to set up a cable appt i ran accross an ad for ROKU i picked up a ROKU 3 for under $100 thats less than i was paying for dish if you like older movies and tv shows there is TONS of free content or a netflix subscription is less than 1/10 a basic cable bill AND -------IT WORKS
